Christopher Robert Evans is an American actor from the United States. His acting career started with TV acting roles, notably Opposite Sext, which he portrayed in 2000. His fame was boosted by his character as Human Torch, the Marvel Comics superhero in Fantastic Four and Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer in 2007. Evans appeared in several film adaptations based on graphic novels and comics, including TMNT (2007) Scott Pilgrim against. the World (2009) and Snowpiercer (2013). Evans' portrayal as Steve Rogers/Captain America was featured in the Marvel Cinematic Universe films Captain America: The First Captain America: The Winter Soldier (2014 and 2015), Captain America: Civil War (2016) and Avengers: Infinity War (2018) along with Endgame 2019. The latter brought him increased appreciation. The Marvel films have made him one of the highest-paid Hollywood actors.
